Clear Browser Cache

Description

When browsing the internet, websites cache files in the browser to speed up your web applications. Over time the browser cache becomes out of date or stale after a website implements an update. Clearing the browser cache fixes most website loading issues.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Click on the three vertical dots on the top right of the browser window
  3. Select Delete browsing data in the menu
  4. Select Basic and set the time range for All time
  5. Make sure all the options are selected with a checkmark
  6. Click on the Delete data button
  7. Close the Settings tab and resume browsing

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge
  2. Click on the three horizontal dots on the top right of the browser window
  3. Select Delete browsing data in the menu
  4. Set the time range for All time
  5. Make sure all the options are selected with a checkmark
  6. As a precaution to not remove anything important, make sure the following options are unselected
  7. Click on the Delete data button
  8. Close the Settings tab and resume browsing

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox
  2. Click on the three horizontal lines on the top right of the browser window
  3. Select History in the menu
  4. Select Clear recent history
  5. Select Everything in the When dropdown menu
  6. Make sure all the options are selected with a checkmark
  7. Click on the Clear button
  8. Resume browsing
